Trent Alexander-Arnold’s (£8.5m) return to action in the FA Cup at the weekend earns him a place in the Scout Selection for Gameweek 22 of Fantasy Premier League.

The right-back was in outstanding form prior to missing Liverpool’s 4-0 win at AFC Bournemouth due to injury. Indeed, he has delivered Fantasy returns in eight of his last nine outings ahead of a home meeting with Chelsea.

Alexander-Arnold is joined by team-mates Diogo Jota (£7.9m) and Darwin Nunez (£7.4m) in a side that line up in a 3-5-2 formation, with Kevin De Bruyne (£10.6m) handed the armband and Richarlison (£7.0m) named vice-captain.

Ederson (Man City) £5.5m

The Brazilian offers a secure route into Manchester City’s backline at home to Burnley. The Clarets have managed a league-low 23 shots in the box over the last four Gameweeks, suggesting Ederson can collect his sixth clean sheet of the season on Wednesday evening.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) £8.5m

The Liverpool star's ownership has dropped to 20 per cent after his short spell on the sidelines. Alexander-Arnold is the eighth top-scoring player in home matches this season, combining a goal and three assists with five clean sheets and 10 bonus points in nine appearances.

Pedro Porro (Spurs) £5.9m

The Tottenham Hotspur right-back boasts a major all-round threat at home to Brentford. Porro is the most consistent defender in Fantasy this season, producing attacking or defensive returns in 13 of his 20 appearances.

Pervis Estupinan (Brighton) £5.1m

Brighton & Hove Albion’s Ecuadorian has made an immediate impact at both ends of the pitch since returning from injury. Estupinan visits Luton Town on the back of two goals and two clean sheets in his last five outings in all competitions.

Kevin De Bruyne (Man City) £10.6m

Over 1.1million managers have brought in the Man City playmaker after his 12-point cameo off the bench against Newcastle United in Gameweek 21. Having played as a substitute in the FA Cup last Friday, De Bruyne could be set for his first home start of 2023/24, versus Burnley.

Phil Foden (Man City) £8.0m

The England star has been Man City’s top performer in Fantasy at the Etihad Stadium this season. Foden has amassed 61 points in nine home matches, producing three goals, five assists and only two blanks.

Diogo Jota (Liverpool) £7.9m

Liverpool’s Portuguese entertains Chelsea on the back of three goals, three assists and 32 points in the last three Gameweeks. Jota was also on the scoresheet against Norwich City in the FA Cup on Sunday, underlining his growing influence on the Reds’ attack in the absence of Mohamed Salah (£13.1m).

Richarlison (Spurs) £7.0m

The Spurs star is the top-scoring player in Fantasy over the last six Gameweeks thanks to a move up front. Richarlison has blanked only once in that run, scoring six goals and collecting 49 points to emerge as a genuine captain option under Ange Postecoglou.

Mohammed Kudus (West Ham) £6.8m

West Ham United’s Ghanaian is owned by a mere three per cent of managers for his home match against AFC Bournemouth. Kudus is the fifth top-scoring midfielder in Fantasy since making his full debut in Gameweek 10, producing five goals, three assists and 64 points.

Darwin Nunez (Liverpool) £7.4m

Like his Liverpool team-mate Jota, the Uruguayan has improved his consistency recently. Nunez has three goals and two assists in the Reds’ last four matches across all competitions, blanking only once.

Dominic Solanke (Bournemouth) £7.1m

The Bournemouth striker visits a West Ham side who have been very fortunate to concede only two goals in the last four Gameweeks. The Hammers rank among the worst three teams for conceding shots, shots in the box and big chances in that period.
