Two goals in the final 19 minutes earned Manchester United the point they needed to guarantee Division 1 safety in a 2-2 draw with Arsenal at Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners led 2-0 at the break after Cohen Bramall set up goals for Eddie Nketiah and Reiss Nelson.

Both goalscorers went off at half-time with one of Arsenal's substitutes, Joe Willock, joining his brothers Chris, of the Gunners, and United's Matty on the pitch.

Josh Harrop reduced the arrears in the 72nd minute before United goalkeeper Kieran O'Hara kept the visitors in the match by saving substitute Donyell Malen's penalty.

And the visitors capitalised on that to grab the draw when Harrop's cross was deflected into his own net by Chiori Johnson.

Arsenal, promoted last season, finish the campaign in fourth with United in eighth - a point above 11th-placed Reading, who are in the relegation zone.

United host Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford next Monday in the final match of the season.
