With the next set of international fixtures less than a month away, Jarrod Bowen sent a timely reminder to England manager Gareth Southgate of his ability by scoring his first Premier League hat-trick.
The West Ham United star fired his side to a 4-2 victory over Brentford on Monday as the Hammers ended their six-match winless run in the league.
Bowen has been rewarded with a place in the Team of the Week selected by Alan Shearer, who himself netted 11 hat-tricks in the competition, and is the Premier League's all-time top scorer.

“Despite conceding two goals, he made several really good saves.”
John Stones (Man City)
“He was absolutely everywhere. A typically assured display.”
Jarrad Branthwaite (Everton)

“Scored his first Premier League goal and didn’t give Marcus Rashford a kick.”
Bukayo Saka (Arsenal)
