The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts give their thoughts on who to captain in Gameweek 27 ahead of the deadline at 13:30 GMT on Saturday 2 March.
Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)
Gameweek 26 should have taught us to look at all options and not just perma-captain Erling Haaland (£14.4m). This week, Ivan Toney (£8.2m) v Chelsea, Ollie Watkins (£8.9m) v Luton Town, Bukayo Saka (£9.2m) v Sheffield United and all of the Tottenham Hotspur midfielders against Crystal Palace look like great options, as does Haaland in the Manchester derby on the back of his five goals in the FA Cup. I am leaning towards Saka, though, unless fear gets the better of me.
Pranil Sheth (@Lateriser12)
Manchester United defensively are just very open at the moment with huge gaps in midfield. I didn't captain Haaland last time around against them and paid a huge price, which I don't want to repeat. He'll likely be my captain.
Utkarsh Dalmia (@ZopharFPL)
Haaland has an excellent record against Man Utd, who will be reeling after the home loss to Fulham. The Norwegian gets my armband once again, but Saka is a decent alternative.
Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg)
I'll stick with Haaland and back him to turn it on in the derby once again. I expect Kevin De Bruyne (£10.7m) to start, so the City forward will get the perfect service.
Nick Harris (@WGTA_Nick)
I'm captaining Saka. Arsenal have been free-scoring all through February and are playing the weakest team in the league. I expect Saka and Arsenal to be too much for them.
Pras (@Pras_FPL)
It's between Haaland and Saka for me. Last season, I didn't captain the Norwegian for his hat-trick and two assists in the same fixture, but I won't be making the same mistake again.
Mark McGettigan (@FPLGeneral)
Having watched him run riot in the FA Cup on Tuesday night, the armband is firmly on Haaland.
Az Phillips (@FPLBlackBox_Az)
Saka versus Haaland is a tough call, but I'm leaning towards the Arsenal star. He has 59 points in his last five appearances and faces a side who have conceded an average of four goals per match across their last five matches at Bramall Lane in all competitions.
Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily)
I'm between Saka and Haaland. The Norwegian's five goals in midweek has given me pause for thought in the most emphatic way. Up to then, I was all set to captain Saka, who has four double-digit hauls in his last five games. Incredible form that cannot be ignored.
