Speaking at the parade, Barclays Manager of the Season Pep Guardiola reflected on City's historic success and outlined his early thoughts ahead of next season.
“This season has been amazing and the journey was really good. We lived it week-in, week-out, good mood, good vibes and the team has been extraordinary the way we played the Champions League, we didn’t lose one game,” Guardiola said.
“We will be back as best as possible. I am not thinking next season we have to do this or that.
“Step-by-step and we will see what happens with the squad that we will have and start to work and run and we will see.”
'It's been a special season'
Meanwhile, EA SPORTS Player of the Season Phil Foden spoke of his determination to lift more silverware in 2024/25.
“We’re delighted with this season but we want to go again and try and win more,” Foden said.
“It’s the hunger inside me to win trophies. We have a great group.
“It’s been a special season.
“Obviously it’s something nobody’s done before, unbelievable feeling, we couldn’t have done it without the staff or the fans.”
'I’m so proud of everyone'
Castrol Golden Boot winner Erling Haaland revealed his favourite moment from the history-making 2023/24 season.
