Brighton have signed former Arsenal attacking midfielder Amario Cozier-Duberry on a four-year deal.
The 19-year-old becomes Brighton's third summer signing, following Yankuba Minteh and Mats Wieffer, after his contract with the Gunners expired.

“We’re really pleased to be able to bring Amario to the club,” Brighton’s technical director David Weir told the official club website. “He’s got attributes we like and we believe he is a player who can flourish in our environment.
"We’re looking forward to working with him and helping his career to progress.”
Brighton's first pre-season fixture is on 24 July against Kashima Antlers in Tokyo, and they kick off their Premier League campaign away at Everton on Saturday 17 August.
Who is Cozier-Duberry?
Born in London on 29 May 2005, Cozier-Duberry grew up in Tottenham and played for local side Chettle Court Rangers before being offered a trial by Arsenal.
Following a successful trial, he joined the Gunners' Academy at the age of 14, and went on to sign his first professional contract with the club in June 2022.
Cozier-Duberry featured on Arsenal's pre-season tour to the United States last summer, and was an unused substitute in two first-team matches in 2023/24, against Brentford in the EFL Cup and Sevilla in the UEFA Champions League.
He scored 13 goals and contributed five assists in 24 appearances for Arsenal’s Under-21s last season and won April's Premier League 2 Player of the Month.
Speaking in 2023, former Arsenal player and Gunners' Under-18 head coach Jack Wilshere told The Athletic: "Amario is very exciting and Mikel [Arteta] likes him. He reminds me of Bukayo Saka, plays in the same position as him, needs to get better with his decision-making like Bukayo did, but he’s definitely exciting.
“In some moments he’s unplayable. You give him the ball and he can make things happen. You can set up a team and have a game plan, but when you’ve got individuals like that you’ve got a chance.”
Cozier-Duberry has represented England at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18 and Under-19 levels.
