Manchester City's Julian Alvarez scored the opening goal as Argentina beat Canada 2-0 to reach the Copa America 2024 final.
Alvarez put the FIFA World Cup 2022 champions ahead on 22 minutes in the semi-final with a close-range finish, before Lionel Messi struck six minutes after the break.
Argentina's starting line-up featured five Premier League players: Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez, Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, Manchester United centre-back Lisandro Martinez and Tottenham Hotspur’s Cristian Romero.
Argentina will now face either Uruguay or Colombia in the final, which takes place on Monday 15 July, at 01:00 BST.
The second semi-final match will see Liverpool team-mates Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz face each other for Uruguay and Colombia respectively.
