Match officials
There will be two match officials who may not be new to the Premier League but will be regulars in the competition this season for the first time.
PGMOL has promoted to Select Group 1 (SG1) on a permanent basis for the 2024/25 Premier League season referee Sam Barrott and assistant referee Craig Taylor..
Referee: Sam Barrott
Barrott has taken charge of 15 Premier League matches, all of which came last season, with his first coming on 7 October 2023 when he oversaw Fulham's encounter with Sheffield United.
