The fixtures for the 2024/25 Under-21 Premier League season have been released, with champions Tottenham Hotspur beginning their title defence against London rivals and two-time PL2 winners Chelsea on 16 August.
Spurs became the first team to be crowned champions of the newly formatted PL2 that consisted of 26 clubs last season. They lifted the trophy at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after beating Sunderland in the play-off final.
On what could be a thrilling opening weekend of PL2 action, Arsenal host Manchester United, while Liverpool face Manchester City, who won PL2 three times in a row before last season.
There is also a Tyne-Wear derby between Newcastle United and Sunderland.
