Newcastle United have announced the signing of 21-year-old striker William Osula from Sheffield United.
The Dane becomes Newcastle's sixth signing of the summer transfer window and adds further depth to Eddie Howe's attacking options.

Earlier in the window, Newcastle bolstered their defence by signing Lloyd Kelly and goalkeeper John Ruddy, both arriving after their contracts expired at AFC Bournemouth and Birmingham City respectively.
They also secured Greece goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos from Nottingham Forest and Serbian defender Miodrag Pivas. Additionally, the club turned Lewis Hall's loan spell into a permanent transfer from Chelsea.
Elliot Anderson was sold to Nottingham Forest, while winger Yankuba Minteh moved to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Who is William Osula?
Born on 4 August 2003 in Copenhagen, Osula began his footballing journey at FC Copenhagen's academy before joining Sheff Utd's youth set-up in 2018.
Osula made his senior debut for the Blades in March 2022 in a Championship match against Blackpool. He scored his first senior goals for the club in the FA Cup against Gillingham, also netting against Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion in the next round.
In 2022/23, Osula was loaned to League One side Derby County, where he scored five goals across all competitions.
He made 21 Premier League appearances last season for Sheff Utd. Osula has recently represented Denmark's Under-21 side, making five appearances in total.
When could he make his debut?
Newcastle's next match is a pre-season friendly against Spanish side Girona on 9 August.
The Magpies kick off their Premier League campaign on 17 August at St James' Park, where they face promoted Southampton.
