Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of Dominic Solanke for what AFC Bournemouth have announced is a club-record fee.
Solanke, who scored 19 Premier League goals last season, has agreed a six-year deal and will bolster Spurs' attacking options.

Who is Dominic Solanke?
Born on 14 September 1997 in Reading, Solanke will need little introduction to Premier League fans.
In 2017, Liverpool convinced Solanke to move north following the expiry of his contract with then-Premier League champions Chelsea, but after only 21 Premier League appearances across the two seasons, he took his hunt for regular football to the south coast.
Solanke's 2019 switch to Bournemouth got his career going. He took a while to find his scoring boots at the Cherries, and three goals in his first full season couldn’t prevent relegation.
Things got moving for him in the Championship where he netted 15 goals in 2020/21, before hitting 29 the year after as Bournemouth returned to the Premier League in style.
Solanke scored 25 goals in the following two seasons - including 19 in 2023/24, his best return in the competition so far.
Where will he fit in?
Solanke will have plenty of competition for a starting place, but with Spurs keen to end their central striker quandary, Ange Postecoglou has plumped for a proven No 9 to suit his style of football after the departure of Harry Kane last summer.
With Son Heung-min often leading their line last season, Dejan Kulusevski has also had his opportunity in pre-season. Richarlison has been seen as a possible Kane replacement, while Brennan Johnson and Timo Werner are versatile and willing runners, although often from wide areas.
But for fans, Solanke is seen as a much-required final piece of their attacking puzzle.
Spurs’ 2024/25 transfer activity
Spurs started the transfer activity early, agreeing a deal to extend Werner's spell from RB Leipzig until the end of next season in May.
Swedish talent Lucas Bergvall, 18, has also arrived after an agreement was struck last season, with another teenager Archie Gray also on board from Leeds United. The new additions arrive amid the departures of Joe Rodon, Eric Dier, Ivan Perisic, Ryan Sessegnon, Japhet Tanganga and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
