Amadou Onana made a dream start to life at Aston Villa on Saturday as he scored inside four minutes of his debut for the club, but where does his header rank in terms of the quickest goals scored by players in their first Premier League matches for a club?
The Belgian midfielder, signed from Everton in the summer, struck on 208 seconds of the match at West Ham United.
It was the joint-earliest goal scored by a Villa player on their Premier League debut, joining Kevin Phillips, who also netted in the fourth minute against Bolton Wanderers in August 2005.
Onana's goal is at best possibly the fourth-fastest goal by a player on his debut for a club in the Premier League.
Two players, Louis Saha and Kevin Phillips, also scored in the fourth minute but these were registered before exact goal times were recorded.
The fastest is by David Healy who scored after only 51 seconds for Fulham against Arsenal on the opening day of the 2007/08 season.
The Northern Ireland striker is the only player to have struck inside a minute of his debut. Next comes Alexandre Lacazette, who scored 94 seconds into his Arsenal debut at home to Leicester City in August 2017.
