“He is a winger who can go past players one-on-one. He is direct and he can create,” head coach Thomas Frank said on the club's website.
“Gustavo has a lot of potential and of course we need to maximise that in every aspect. He needs time to settle, but this is a very exciting signing.”

Nunes joined Gremio's youth set-up in 2021 at the age of 15 and went on to make his first-team debut in February 2024, providing an assist in a 1-1 draw with Sao Luiz after coming on as a first-half substitute.
Only six days later, Nunes scored his first goal for the club in a 6-2 win over Santa Cruz. In total Nunes has made 20 appearances for Gremio in the Brazilian top flight, scoring three times and providing one assist.
Ogbene joins from Luton
Ipswich Town have signed Chiedozie Ogbene from Luton Town on a four-year contract, with the winger becoming the club's 12th summer arrival.
Ogbene, who will wear the No 21 shirt for Ipswich, will be appearing for his second promoted club in two years, having been Luton’s first signing ahead of their debut Premier League season in 2023/24.

Born in Nigeria, Ogbene, who became the first African player to represent the Republic of Ireland, played 30 times in the Premier League for Luton, scoring four times.
Ogbene was the Premier League's second fastest player last season, behind Tottenham Hotspur defender Micky van de Ven, as he clocked in at 36.93 km/h against Fulham in September.
“I’m very excited and feel lucky to have this opportunity to play in the Premier League again,” Ogbene told the club’s official website.
“I’ve had very positive chats with the manager and for someone to believe in me that I could play at this level again means a lot to me and my family.
“I know what he wants from me and the role I will play and I’m here to be a positive addition to the squad as we look to achieve our goals.”
