AFC Bournemouth have signed Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga on a season-long loan.
The 29-year-old, who has agreed a one-year contract extension with the Blues, joins Andoni Iraola’s side after spending the 2023/24 season on loan at LaLiga side Real Madrid.

“We were aware of his availability and were keen to take the opportunity to bring him to the club on loan," Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake said on the club's official website.
“We believe he will be an exciting addition to our talented goalkeeping department.”
Who is Kepa Arrizabalaga?
Kepa was born on 3 October 1994 in Ondarroa, Spain and started his career at Athletic Bilbao.
He moved to Chelsea in August 2018, where he has made 163 appearances for the Blues and won the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
Kepa also won the 2022/23 Save of the Season award after producing a superb double save in a 2-0 win at Aston Villa.
He made 20 appearances during his time with Real Madrid, recording nine clean sheets and won LaLiga, Copa del Rey and the Champions League.
Kepa has also represented Spain 13 times and was part of the squad that won the UEFA Nations League in June 2023.

Bournemouth visit Everton on Saturday 31 August as they look to pick up their first win of the season.
