Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says he will be without a few of his players due to injury for Wednesday night's EFL Cup tie at home to Bolton Wanderers.
Arsenal had a bruising encounter with Manchester City in Sunday's 2-2 draw, with Riccardo Calafiori and Jurrien Timber going off early with apparent problems, while goalkeeper David Raya required treatment in the second half.
"Unfortunately, there will be a few players who are not available," said Arteta. "Tomorrow, you will find it as soon as I give the line-up."
Asked whether Raya is injured, Arteta said: "Let’s see how they are today and we will try to make a call on that if it’s a possibility."
When asked if any of the players in his squad have serious injuries, Arteta said: "We have to wait on one of them."
Latest on Odegaard and Zinchenko
Arteta also offered updates on captain Martin Odegaard (ankle) and Oleksandr Zinchenko (calf), neither of whom have featured since Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion on 31 August.
"I think it will be a matter of weeks, but how long exactly, I cannot tell you," Arteta said of captain Odegaard's ongoing absence. "We might get a surprise [if he is back before the international break] but I think it’s unlikely.
"He [Zinchenko] will still be out for a few weeks unfortunately."
If Raya is ruled out Arteta could hand a surprise debut to 16-year-old rookie 'keeper Jack Porter against Bolton.
Arsenal's No 2 Neto, who signed on loan from AFC Bournemouth in the summer, is cup-tied having already played for the Cherries in the second round before moving to Emirates Stadium at the end of the summer transfer window.
Their third-choice, Tommy Setford, 18, has not been in the Gunners' squad since the international break due to ongoing fitness issues.
Opportunity for Sterling
One player who looks set to start on Wednesday is Chelsea loanee Raheem Sterling.
"He [Sterling] has had a few minutes already and tomorrow he has another opportunity," added Arteta. "He is ready, he is really hungry to add more minutes and impact the team in the way that he can, and hopefully tomorrow we can see that."
Arsenal will return to Premier League action on Saturday when they host a Leicester City side who are still without a win this season.
