Erik ten Hag says everyone at Manchester United remains on the same page to take the club forward, despite seeing his side endure a 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

The Red Devils suffered a second consecutive 3-0 loss at Old Trafford and have now lost three of their six Premier League matches this season, scoring only once at home in the league all season and making their joint-worst start to a campaign in Premier League history.
"We all made togetherness in this decision to stay together, as an ownership, a leadership group in the summer," Ten Hag, who signed a contract extension until June 2026 back in July, said.
"Also, we made the decision from a clear review what we have to improve and how we want to construct a squad, but we knew it will take some time. We are all there on the same page, in the same boat - myself, the players, the leadership. We are together."
He added: “I don’t want to talk about progress after such a defeat. We have to deal with it and show resilience but first I need to deal with this defeat."
Ten Hag felt the straight red card shown to captain Bruno Fernandes in the 42nd minute made Man Utd's task harder.
“Spurs were dominant and we made many mistakes in possession and we made wrong decisions. We could have come back into the game because we had our chances and then the red card changed the game.
“The first half was no good. It is not possible that the player from the back can dribble through the whole team and bring a cross in. I made it clear before the game how we should defend this. We lost confidence in possession, we can do better there and the players know this.”
'Tomorrow's a new day'
Despite falling to 12th in the table following their third loss of the season, Ten Hag remains optimistic he will be able to turn fortunes around.
"It is always a new day. I told them, just in the dressing room, to come on. Tomorrow is a new day," he told the club's official website.
"We definitely have to learn, we have to do things better. We have to be better in the pressing and also better on the ball.
"There were situations where we could have played better, found the spare man and kept the ball and we didn't, which was so disappointing. I just focus on Porto. We close this game down, deal with it and then we move on.
"We will turn this around. Tomorrow, we will start all over again. The season is still very young, with many games to play."
