Micky van de Ven set the fastest speed of any Premier League player so far this season in Tottenham Hotspur's 3-0 win at Manchester United on Sunday.
But it wasn't with the run you're thinking of.
While Van de Ven sprinted through the Man Utd midfield and defence to produce an incredible assist for Brennan Johnson, that run wasn't the fastest speed he was recorded at during the match.
He went quicker when tracking back to tackle Alejandro Garnacho in first-half stoppage time, registering a top speed of 37.12 km/h. You can watch it below.
It was the fastest speed recorded by a player this season, and by some distance, over one km/h quicker than Nottingham Forest winger Anthony Elanga in second place. Erling Haaland, this season's top scorer, ranks third.

Van de Ven dominates all-time ranking
Van de Ven's fastest sprint at Old Trafford was the fourth-fastest recorded in the Premier League since such data started to be collected in 2020/21.
Remarkably, the 23-year-old is responsible for three of the four top speeds recorded by players in that time, including the fastest ever, which he set against Brentford in January 2024.
Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker is the only player who can rival him.
