Kiano Dyer has been named the Premier League 2 Player of the Month for October.
The 17-year-old midfielder, the son of former Leicester City winger Lloyd Dyer, won the award after he contributed to two of Chelsea's nine goals, as the Blues won both their matches.
"I'm super happy to receive this Player of the Month award. It means a lot to me," Dyer said on Chelsea's website.
"I've been working hard since the start of the season and it's great to see my that recognised. In October, I felt I was putting in strong performances and helping the team as much as I could.
"I would like to thank everyone who has supported me since the start of the season, from Filipe and the coaching staff to my team-mates. All the performances we put in are to get the best for the team and aim for three points each week.
"I'm looking forward to seeing where the campaign goes and hopefully to picking up another award this season!"
Dyer's first assist came in an emphatic 6-0 London derby win at Fulham, before he created another goal in a 3-1 home victory over Leicester.
His impressive month continued when he was named on the bench for the club's senior team for their UEFA Conference League match against Gent.
Dyer topped an eight-man shortlist that was selected by the Premier League's Football Development Panel.
Congratulations to October's PL2 Player of the Month, Kiano Dyer!
