Monday 3 February is Transfer Deadline Day. Here is everything you need to know.
What is Transfer Deadline Day?
Transfer Deadline Day allows clubs a final opportunity to strengthen their squads for the remainder of the 2024/25 season. So, today is the last chance to sign players.
When does Deadline Day end?
The winter 2025 transfer window will shut on Monday 3 February, at 23:00 GMT. It has been open since Wednesday 1 January.
Who may move on Deadline Day?
Deadline Day is traditionally a busy day of transfer activity. There are lots of reported signings. West Ham United have been linked with a loan move for Brighton & Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson, while Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell is reportedly on his way to Crystal Palace. Arsenal are on the lookout for a new signing in attack, while Ruben Amorim revealed on Sunday that Manchester United are trying to bring in someone on Deadline Day.

Can signings be made after the deadline?
While the window shuts at 23:00 GMT, there is still a chance of signings being announced for a short while after.
That is because clubs have a two-hour period after the window shuts to complete a signing, if they have submitted a deal sheet ahead of 23:00 GMT.
What are the big deals done so far?
Perhaps the biggest signings of late are Aston Villa signing Marcus Rashford on loan from Man Utd, and Spurs bringing in Kevin Danso from Lens. Man Utd have signed left-back Patrick Dorgu from Lecce and there have been some notable departures, too, including Jhon Duran leaving Villa on a permanent deal.

When do other leagues' windows close?
The EFL as well as the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 joined the Premier League clubs in being able to trade from New Year's Day, and the end of the window aligns for most major European leagues to ensure harmonisation. However, the exact times of closure vary.
Turkey's Super Lig opened on Monday 13 January and stays open until Tuesday 11 February, while clubs in Saudi Arabia had to conclude all their business by Friday.
