Manchester United 1-1 Fulham (Fulham win 4-3 on penalties)
Fulham claimed a first FA Cup victory over holders Manchester United in 117 years, to seal progress to the FA Cup quarter-finals following a dramatic penalty shoot-out win.
Bernd Leno was the visitor's hero on the night, saving penalties from Joshua Zirkzee and Victor Lindelof to secure the win. They will host fellow London side Crystal Palace in the next round.
Defeat for Man Utd means their only hope of playing in Europe next season has come to end, with the winners of the FA Cup granted an automatic spot in the UEFA Europa League.
Calvin Bassey’s late first-half opener was his second Old Trafford goal in three visits and fifth career goal overall, after scoring in last season’s 2-1 league win for Fulham.
It is the sixth time Man Utd conceded first in their last six matches, losing twice, and drawing once in that run.
It is also the 13th goal that Ruben Amorim’s side have conceded from corners in all competitions this season, more than any other top-flight team.
Emile Smith Rowe nearly scored on his return from injury, testing Andre Onana twice from range, drawing important saves from the Cameroon international.
Fernandes' first-time strike was his 12th goal involvement in 12 FA Cup ties, providing a spark of inspiration to drag Man Utd back into the tie.
Youngster Chido Obi provided some attacking impetus late on in normal time, shrugging off a potential foul inside the box from Bassey to test Leno’s goal and firing wide just ahead at the end of stoppage time.
Following a fifth win in six matches across all competitions, Marco Silva’s side are next in action on Saturday when they travel to Brighton & Hove Albion, who have also progressed to the quarter-finals.

Newcastle 1-2 Brighton
Danny Welbeck’s stoppage-time winner for Brighton was enough to defeat Newcastle United and book their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals, and it could prove to be a costly afternoon for Eddie Howe.
It was a familiar story with 34-year-old Welbeck also scoring the winning goal in the Premier League meeting between the sides back in October.
But things were going so well for the hosts when Alexander Isak’s opener from the spot, his first in the FA Cup this season and his 17th goal across 17 starts in all competitions since the start of December, put Newcastle in front.
But he limped off before the end of the tie, leaving fans and his head coach concerned.
Against the run of play, Yankuba Minteh scored against his former club to grab his fourth goal involvement in four matches for the Seagulls.
The match had come to life but it was in extra time where the talking points arrived.
Red cards for both clubs would add further drama, with Brighton's Tariq Lamptey and Newcastle's Anthony Gordon sent off in space of 10 minutes.
Gordon now looks set to miss EFL Cup final on Sunday 16 March against Liverpool, BBC Sport are reporting, before Isak's injury scare.
Howe has confirmed that the club will look to appeal against the red card decision.
Welbeck was the difference maker once more as his lofted finish won the match to send Brighton through.
It is his second decisive goal in five days, after he netted the winner against AFC Bournemouth last Tuesday.
