The Scout is tipping five players for big success in Gameweek 30 of 2024/25 Fantasy Premier League ahead of Tuesday's 18:15 BST deadline.

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace) £5.1m

Crystal Palace's attack-minded defender has only blanked once in his last eight appearances.

Munoz has produced one goal and three assists for the Eagles in that time.

He's also been a part of a Palace backline that has recorded a league-best five clean sheets in eight matches.

No FPL defender can better Munoz's total of nine combined attacking and defensive returns from Gameweek 21 onwards.

The Colombia international has an excellent chance to continue his impressive form in Gameweek 30 when he faces Southampton, who have scored fewer and conceded more goals than any other Premier League team in 2024/25.

Munoz is a medium-term hold, too, with Palace playing twice in Double Gameweek 32.

Jacob Murphy (Newcastle United) £5.0m

Another team who have two fixtures in Gameweek 32 are Newcastle United.

Fresh from an assist in the EFL Cup final, Murphy is an attractive, cheap option for the next Gameweek and beyond.

Over half of his 13 attacking returns in 2024/25 have come against sides he's about to face in Gameweeks 30-34.

Two of those were a pair of assists from his previous meeting with Brentford, whom he crosses paths with again on Wednesday.

And Newcastle's next seven fixtures all score 3 or lower in the the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR).

Newcastle's next seven matches
GW Opp. FDR
30 Brentford (H) 2
31 Leicester (A) 2
32 Man Utd (H)
Crystal Palace (H)

3
33 Aston Villa (A) 3
34 Ipswich (H) 2
35 Brighton (A) 3

Murphy's a good option for minutes, too, having started Newcastle's last 15 Premier League encounters.

Savinho (Manchester City) £6.2m

Pep Guardiola's teamsheets are sometimes tricky to second-guess but Savinho has made his manager's starting XI in each of the last six Gameweeks.

The Brazilian has had a fine debut campaign with Man City and has already reached double figures for assists.

In Gameweek 30, he'll be coming up against a Leicester City side whom he bagged 14 points against back in December. That was his biggest haul of the season so far.

It's a decent match-up, indeed, with the Foxes conceding more chances from Savinho's flank (their own left wing) than any other club in 2024/25.

Man City's future fixtures are good but given the long-term rotation risk, Savinho could instead be a decent one-week pick for those FPL managers using their Wildcard in Gameweek 31.

Joao Pedro (Brighton & Hove Albion) £5.6m

Aston Villa may be tricky opponents on paper but only the bottom three clubs have kept fewer clean sheets than the Villans in this campaign.

Unai Emery's side have mustered just four shut-outs all season. None were against top-half teams, of which in-form Brighton are one.

Joao Pedro loves facing Villa having delivered at least one return in all three of his previous meetings.

That included a pair of assists at Villa Park last December.

Joao Pedro has also scored in three of his last four league starts at the Amex Stadium and is back on home soil this Gameweek.

Cody Gakpo (Liverpool) £7.4m

Like Joao Pedro, Gakpo seems to enjoy home comforts - and he's at Anfield in Gameweek 30.

The Dutchman has scored in each of his last six Premier League starts at home.

The last of those came way back in January, with ankle injuries limiting his involvement since.

But fitness-building substitute appearances in two of Liverpool's three most recent matches were followed by two starts for the Netherlands over the international break, suggesting that those niggles are behind him.

With neither Diogo Jota (£7.2m) nor Darwin Nunez (£7.0m) staking convincing claims in his absence, Gakpo will fancy his chances of reclaiming a starting spot and continuing that scoring run.
