The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts reveal who they are planning to captain in Blank Gameweek 34 (BGW34) ahead of the deadline at 11:00 BST on Saturday 26 April.

Ben Crabtree (@FC_Crabdogg

I'll be looking at Newcastle, and most likely Alexander Isak (£9.6m). But Jacob Murphy (£5.2m) is a consideration as the Magpies' form player.

With one win in their last seven league matches, it appears that Spurs' attention is focused on their UEFA Europa League campaign. I don't expect them to put up much of a fight against a Liverpool team that should fly out the blocks at Anfield this weekend, encouraged by an expectant Kop as the Reds look to secure the Premier League title. So Mohamed Salah (£13.8m) will be my captain.

Oscar (@FPLFocal

It's between Salah and Isak. Salah hasn't scored a goal from open play in nine consecutive games across all competitions, which is concerning, but I can't help but back the Liverpool star to return to form at home to Spurs, so Salah will get my armband.

Harry Daniels (@FPL_Harry

There are some great differential options in the likes of Matheus Cunha (£6.9m) and Isak. However, my armband is firmly on Salah as Liverpool look to secure the title.

Spurs have clearly prioritised the Europe and we can expect the north London side to again rest key players ahead of their Europa League semi-final first leg on Thursday. Salah will be my captain, perhaps for the last time this season.

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

I am really torn. Liverpool will almost certainly be crowned Premier League champions, which increases the appeal of going with Salah, although his recent form is a concern. I am tempted to go with a differential on my Free Hit, with Isak, Cunha and Cole Palmer (£10.6m) are all potential options.

Nick Harris (@WGTA_Nick

The captaincy will go back on Salah. He's been going through a quiet patch, but I expect Liverpool to dominate against Spurs.

Pras (@PrasFPL

Salah is clear of other options for me. Yes, there are plenty of temptations, with other players facing promoted teams, but with Liverpool potentially winning the title on the day and Spurs having an eye of their European tie, I'll be going with the Egyptian.
