Manchester City have announced the signing of Douglas Luiz from Vasco da Gama.
The Brazil Under-20 midfielder has agreed a five-year deal to move for an undisclosed fee.
Txiki Begiristain, Man City's Director of Football, told mancity.com: “He is an exciting player with great potential, and everyone here is looking forward to helping him develop his talent and progress in the game.”
Luiz, City's second signing in as many days after Kyle Walker, joins compatriots Gabriel Jesus, Fernandinho and Fernando at the Etihad Stadium.
Man City open their 2017/18 Premier League campaign at Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday 12 August.
