Cian Harries says joining Swansea City's double-winning Under-23 side is perfect for his development.
“I have had a look round the training ground... it’s unreal," 20-year-old Harries told swanseacity.net following his transfer from Coventry City on Monday.
"I am a little bit blown away by it. I don’t think there could be a better environment for me to develop in."
Swansea were crowned champions of Division 2 and also won the Premier League Cup last season.
They will compete in Division 1 in 2017/18, and centre-back Harries hopes the tougher competition can lead him to the club's senior team.
“My aim in the long term is to play in the Premier League," he says. “But I am going into the development squad and that’s good. I feel it will give me a chance to work on the areas where I need to improve.”
