After Brighton & Hove Albion paid a club-record fee to capture Davy Propper, the midfielder has been added to the Fantasy Premier League ahead of Friday's Gameweek 1 deadline at a price of £5.5m.

Managers considering the Dutchman should note that Propper supplied six goals and seven assists from 33 starts last season for PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie.

Notably, he produced 79 key passes, second only to Ajax’s Hakim Ziyech (105).

He also fired 71 shots from a central midfield role, although 49 were from outside the area.

The box-to-box midfielder joins Pascal Gross (£5.5m) and Anthony Knockaert (£6.0m) as a potential option for managers seeking Brighton midfielders.
