Joe Nuttall took his PL2 goal tally to five as his brace helped Blackburn Rovers beat Reading 5-3 in a thrilling match at Hogwood.
The forward, who scored a hat-trick in the 5-1 opening win over Wolverhampton Wanderers, converted a penalty after three minutes.
His second goal, also a penalty, came two minutes later, before Reading responded through Ramarni Medford-Smith.
Joseph Rankin-Costello restored Rovers' two-goal lead, before Danny Loader dispatched a penalty for Reading.
Just before half-time Stefan Mols made it 4-2.
It was five for Blackburn after 72 minutes, Matthew Platt rising highest to head in. Matthew Platt turned into his own net for a late Reading consolation goal.
Blackburn next travel to Southampton, while Reading are at Brighton & Hove Albion.
