Pascal Gross has revealed how he is working hard to adapt to the game in England as he looks to help Brighton & Hove Albion to a first Premier League goal and win.
The attacking midfielder joined from Ingolstadt in Germany in the summer and, ahead of a home match with West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, he is trying to adjust to a different approach to player challenges on the pitch.
"It's different to the Bundesliga because it's more physical and the referees don't whistle so often," the 26-year-old German told brightonandhovealbion.com. "In Germany, it's easier to get free-kicks and the referees will let more stuff go here.
"You have to learn fast and get used to the English mentality. That's what I want to do and I train hard to improve every day."
