Abdoulaye Doucoure and Daryl Janmaat both scored long-range goals as Watford beat Southampton 2-0 at St Mary's Stadium.
The result lifts the Hornets to fourth and extends their unbeaten start to the season.
Doucoure opened the scoring on 38 minutes, the midfielder firing in from 25 yards from Kiko Femenia's assist.
Janmaat made sure of the points with an equally stunning goal on 66 minutes from Tom Cleverley's pass.
It means Watford have two wins and two draws from their four matches, while Southampton are 10th after losing their unbeaten start.
