Sam Hughes struck in injury time as Leicester City came from behind to inflict Liverpool’s second defeat of the season with a 2-1 win at Prenton Park.
It looked like business as usual for the league leaders, who went ahead on 27 minutes thanks to Harry Wilson’s eighth goal of the season.
But Leicester levelled shortly before the interval when Admiral Muskwe’s produced his sixth strike of the campaign, and third in a week.
In an open second half, Danny Ings came close for the hosts but Hughes snatched all three points with a header in added time.
Their sixth win in seven unbeaten matches lifts the Foxes to third place, while Liverpool remain top, four points above them and two clear of second-placed Everton.
