Jack Cork says he sees a similar team spirit at Burnley to that of the Southampton side he played in who rose to the Premier League.
The midfielder returns on Saturday with Burnley to St Mary’s Stadium, where he spent four seasons from 2011.
“I’m looking forward to going back,” Cork told Burnley’s official website.
“It was a great club for me and probably one of the highlights of my career, getting promoted to the Premier League with Southampton.
“It was a great team and a great spirit we had, similar to what we have here at the minute.”
