Roy Hodgson says Crystal Palace are seeking a change of fortune at home to Stoke City on Saturday.
The Eagles manager believes results have not rewarded the quality of their recent displays as Palace seek to lift themselves off the bottom of the Premier League table.
"We take some heart from the five points in five games because we think in those we have done enough in terms of the way we played to get more points in those five,” Hodgson told Crystal Palace’s official website.
"And we are fully aware we have got to continue in the same vein as we have done in those last five games and hope that lady luck will be a bit kinder to us than it has to us in several of these recent matches."
