Swansea City have parted company with Paul Clement, the head coach.
Clement, 45, leaves with Swansea bottom of the Premier League after only three victories this season.
Assistant managers Nigel Gibbs and Karl Halabi have also departed, the club said.
"To change the manager, especially at only the halfway point of the season, is the last thing we wanted to do as a club," Swansea's chairman, Huw Jenkins, told the club's official website.
"We had three different managers last season and as a result we all wanted to give Paul as much time as possible to turn things around.
"But we felt we couldn’t leave it any longer and needed to make a change to give us the best chance of an uplift and a turnaround in fortunes with the club bottom of the Premier League."
Clement took charge in January with Swansea bottom and preserved their Premier League status by guiding them to a 15th-place finish.
He is the sixth managerial departure in the PL this season after Frank de Boer (Crystal Palace), Tony Pulis (West Bromwich Albion), Ronald Koeman (Everton), Craig Shakespeare (Leicester City) and Slaven Bilic (West Ham United).
Swansea, who have won one match in their last 10, host Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The club have promised to give a further update on new appointments within the next 24 hours.
