With the second Fantasy Premier League Wildcard available, The Scout reviews the top targets to consider for the chip.
David De Gea (MUN) £5.9m
Now 18 points clear at the top of the goalkeeper standings, De Gea has supplied 12 clean sheets for Manchester United and Fantasy managers.
But, it is his save count that is perhaps more surprising.
De Gea has made 73 saves, a total surpassed only by Swansea City’s Lukasz Fabianski (£4.6m) with 86.
Also the Spaniard's save percentage of 83% is the best in the Premier League.
While De Gea is expensive, owning the Man Utd option removes the need to consider swapping your goalkeeper from Gameweek to Gameweek, or over the remainder of the season.
