Porto maintained their defence of the Premier League International Cup as a 1-0 win over Bayern Munich sent them into the quarter-finals.
The Portuguese side claimed their place in the knockout stages, at the expense of Tottenham Hotspur, thanks to a penalty by Andre Pereira (pictured).
Bayern had a number of chances at Aldershot but Adrian Fein, Milos Pantovic and Franck Evina found Porto goalkeeper Mouhamed Mbaye in excellent form.
Pereira, who scored in last year's final against Sunderland, decided the tie from the spot on the stroke of half-time after he had been brought down by Nico Feldhahn.
Spurs needed the two sides to draw to go through, but Porto's victory means they join Newcastle United as one of the two best runners-up with six points.
