Harry Arter was on the scoresheet and Jaidon Anthony got a brace as AFC Bournemouth completed a 6-0 Premier League Cup victory over Bury at Vitality Stadium.
The home team featured a number of first-team regulars but it was Anthony, an 18-year-old forward, who broke the deadlock in the 18th minute.
Arter doubled the lead soon afterwards with a fine strike before Anthony and Kyle Taylor established a 4-0 half-time lead.
Taylor teed up Mikael Ndjoli to score a fifth on 68 minutes and Emerson Hyndman completed the scoring to seal the Cherries' second win of the group stage.
AFC Bournemouth's six points from four matches put them a point behind leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers and Norwich City in Group C.
