The Scout is selecting five players to target for Gameweek 26 in Fantasy Premier League.

Mamadou Sakho (CRY) £4.7m

The Crystal Palace defender's return to fitness is a timely boost for both Roy Hodgson and FPL managers.

Sakho excelled on loan at Palace in 2016/17, helping them to four clean sheets with only six goals conceded from only eight starts.

Injury has limited him to only 10 starts since he signed permanently from Liverpool in the summer but when he has been on the pitch this season, the centre-back has excelled.

Bonus-point king

Bonus points have been key to his FPL appeal, Sakho picking up 10 in 2017/18, more than any team-mate.

Between Gameweeks 6-16, Sakho topped the Palace ranks for clearances, blocks and interceptions, a key metric in the Bonus Points System (BPS).

His pass-completion rate of 87% is also the highest on the Palace team, another factor that helps him to pick up bonus rewards.

Sunday return?

Now back from a calf injury, Sakho was on the bench at West Ham United on Tuesday and could earn a recall to the starting XI for Sunday's visit by Newcastle United.

He is set to be a key figure for Hodgson's side over the remaining Gameweeks.

If he can pick up where he left off when it comes to bonus points, he can also provide FPL managers with exceptional value.
