Kevin Wimmer's return from injury was not enough to stop Blackburn Rovers going four points clear at the top of Division 2 with a 1-0 win at Stoke City.
Stoke's Austrian centre-back (pictured) has not featured in the Premier League since 15 January, and played 90 minutes with fellow first-team players Thomas Edwards and Saido Berahino.
Okera Simmonds scored Blackburn's winner with a deflected effort after three minutes.
The result means Rovers need four wins from their final five matches to guarantee the league title and promotion to Division 1. Stoke are in 10th place.
