Managers in Fantasy Premier League have the opportunity to make up ground over Gameweek 37.
With 12 teams playing two matches, the next choice of captain looks to be the biggest and most important decision remaining this season.
As many as 30 per cent of active managers have yet to use the Triple Captain chip.
They will doubtless consider Gabriel Jesus (£10.4m), Raheem Sterling (£9.1m) and Harry Kane (£13.0m) as the leading contenders.
But managers bidding for a late boost may look to a differential option.
United pair
Paul Pogba (£7.9m) and Alexis Sanchez (£11.5m) are two such candidates.
Both have produced two sets of double-digit points hauls in their last four Gameweek appearances for Manchester United.
Second only to Sterling for transfers in among midfielders, Pogba has three goals and an assist in that period before trips to Brighton & Hove Albion and West Ham United.
Over their last 14 Gameweeks, their defences have claimed only one and two clean sheets respectively.
Spurs midfielders
Kane’s Tottenham Hotspur team-mates Christian Eriksen (£9.6m) and Dele Alli (£9.0m) should also be considered.
They visit West Bromwich Albion this weekend then host Newcastle United on Wednesday night.
Over their last six Gameweek appearances both have scored four goals, with Alli leading Eriksen by three assists to two.
Reward or Hazard?
Eden Hazard (£10.5m) is shaping up to be the ultimate risk-reward option.
Owned by a mere 6.3 per cent of FPL managers, he has stepped up his goal threat ahead of Stamford Bridge encounters with Liverpool and Huddersfield Town.
Over his last four appearances, the Belgian has fired 12 shots on goal compared with just three shots in his previous four matches.
Along with Manchester City and Leicester City, Hazard’s Chelsea are one of only three sides to play both their Gameweek 37 matches at home.
