2014: Spurs 1-5 Manchester City
There were five different scorers for Manchester City as they beat 10-man Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane and moved to the top of the table.
Sergio Aguero provided the breakthrough with his 50th Premier League goal, and Spurs then suffered a hammer blow in the 50th minute when a penalty was given against Danny Rose and the defender was sent off.
Yaya Toure converted from the spot, and Edin Dzeko piled on the misery when he struck two minutes later.
Etienne Capoue pulled a goal back for Spurs but Stevan Jovetic and Vincent Kompany extended the visitors' lead in the closing stages.
Man City moved above Arsenal into top spot, a point ahead of the Gunners. Tottenham Hotspur remained fifth but slipped three points behind fourth-placed Liverpool.
2014: Aston Villa 4-3 West Bromwich Albion
Christian Benteke scored a winning penalty as Aston Villa edged a seven-goal thriller, with six of the strikes coming in the first half.
West Bromwich Albion led 2-0 after just nine minutes thanks to Chris Brunt and a Fabian Delph own goal.
However, Andreas Weimann and Leandro Bacuna hit back for Villa, and Delph then struck at the right end to put the hosts 3-2 up.
Youssouf Mulumbu levelled the scores at 3-3 in the 43rd minute, but Benteke won and scored a decisive spot-kick in the second half.
Villa remained 10th but moved five points ahead of Midlands rivals West Brom, who dropped to 15th, three points above the bottom three.
