Jose Mourinho believes Manchester United have signed "one of the best players in the world" in Paul Pogba.
Pogba sealed his return to Old Trafford in the early hours of Tuesday morning, signing a five-year deal at Old Trafford four years after departing the club for Italian Serie A side Juventus.
The 23-year-old midfielder has since established himself as one of world football's brightest talents and Mourinho says his fourth summer signing has the potential to become a true club legend at The Theatre of Dreams.
"Paul is one of the best players in the world and will be a key part of the United team I want to build here for the future," the Portuguese told manutd.com. "He is quick, strong, scores goals and reads the game better than many players much older than he is.
"At 23, he has the chance to make that position his own here over many years. He is young and will continue to improve; he has the chance to be at the heart of this club for the next decade and beyond."

Pogba initially joined United's academy from Le Havre in 2009, going on to win the FA Youth Cup with the club in 2010/11 before being given his first taste of senior football by Sir Alex Ferguson.
Then, at 18 years of age, he made his first-team debut in a 3-0 League Cup victory over Leeds United in September 2011 and earned his Premier League bow against Stoke City four months later.
Although only two further PL appearances would follow before departing in 2012, the teenager is now widely regarded as one of the most exciting central midfielders in the game, having helped Juventus to four consecutive Serie A titles and a runners-up spot in the UEFA Champions League.

In 2013, he was awarded the prestigious Golden Ball, given to the best under-21 player in Europe and formerly won by Wayne Rooney, Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero and most recently new club team-mate Anthony Martial.
After being named in the UEFA Team of the Year for 2015, as well as the FIFA FIFPro World XI, Pogba enjoyed a fine campaign in 2015/16, registering eight league goals as well as 12 assists – the joint-highest of any Serie A player.
He played in all seven of France's matches at UEFA Euro 2016 this summer, scoring in a 5-2 quarter-final defeat of Iceland en route to the final.
Pogba could make his second debut in the club's 2016/17 Premier League opener at AFC Bournemouth. (See AFC Bournemouth v Man Utd).
