Manchester City have announced that Pep Guardiola has signed a new contract at the Premier League champions.
Less than a week after leading his team to a record 100 points in the Premier League, the manager has committed to a new deal through to June 2021.
A "happy and excited" Guardiola said he was keen to improve his record-breaking side.
"I will focus on the desire of my players to become a better team and every day that’s what I will try to do – to improve on the pitch and improve our players,” the Barclays Manager of the Season told City’s official website.
"We have a young squad with an average age of 23 and we want to keep taking steps forward and maintain the levels we’ve achieved this season.”
