1993: Tottenham Hotspur 4-0 Leeds United

Teddy Sheringham scored a hat-trick as Tottenham Hotspur beat Leeds United 4-0, extending their winning run to four matches.

The Spurs striker gave his side an eighth-minute lead and then made it 2-0 before half-time.

Neil Ruddock, who set up the second goal, added his own name to the scoresheet soon after half-time, and Sheringham completed his treble with a penalty.

Spurs moved up to ninth place with 41 points, while Leeds dropped to 15th on 35 points.

2007: Javier Mascherano joins Liverpool

Javier Mascherano's move from West Ham United to Liverpool was ratified by the Premier League.

The midfielder played in the Champions League final three months later as Liverpool lost 2-1 to AC Milan, and he made 94 PL appearances for the club before moving to Barcelona in 2010.
