2008: Liverpool 3-2 Middlesbrough
Fernando Torres hit a hat-trick as Liverpool came from behind to beat Middlesbrough at Anfield.
Tuncay Sanli gave the visitors an early lead, but Torres pounced on a weak headed backpass to equalise, and he then struck again a minute later with a crisp finish from outside the box.
The Spaniard made it 3-1 just after the hour-mark. And, although Stewart Downing pulled a goal back late on, Middlesbrough promptly lost Jeremie Aliadiere to a red card and were unable to find an equaliser.
Liverpool moved into fourth in the table, while Middlesbrough stayed 12th, seven points clear of the bottom three.
2013: Ryan Giggs scores his last Premier League goal
Ryan Giggs scored his 109th and final Premier League goal in Manchester United’s 2-0 win at Queens Park Rangers, aged 39.
Rafael opened the scoring in the 23rd minute and Giggs then struck 10 minutes from time, collecting a pass from Nani and driving a shot past Julio Cesar.
Giggs went on to play for Man United in the following 2013/14 season, making 12 PL appearances, but could not add to his goal tally.
United's victory took them 15 points clear at the top, but second-placed Manchester City moved back within 12 points the following day.
QPR remained at the foot of the table, seven points from safety.
