1993: Everton 2-2 Oldham Athletic
Everton arrested their four-match losing sequence with a draw against Oldham Athletic, but were still left with a bitter taste in their mouths after losing a two-goal lead in the final moments.
The Toffees were 2-0 up after 86 minutes thanks to a Peter Beardsley penalty and a Stuart Barlow strike. But Neil Adams halved the deficit with an 87th-minute spot-kick and then equalised seconds later.
Oldham remained at the foot of the table on 28 points despite their comeback, while Everton were five points further ahead.
2017: Leicester City 3-1 Liverpool
Leicester City beat Liverpool 3-1, halting a five-match losing run, in their first match after Claudio Ranieri’s departure.
Two Jamie Vardy goals sandwiched a stunning Danny Drinkwater strike, securing three points for caretaker manager Craig Shakespeare. Philippe Coutinho was on target for Liverpool.
Leicester leapt out of the bottom three, climbing to 15th place, while Liverpool remained fifth, one point outside the top four.
