2004: Manchester United 0-1 Liverpool
Danny Murphy became the first visiting player in a decade to convert a penalty at Old Trafford as Liverpool won against Manchester United.
Murphy's successful spot-kick following a foul on Steven Gerrard by Gary Neville was the first in the Premier League by an opposition player since Ruel Fox for Norwich City.
It was also the third time that Murphy had scored the decisive goal at Old Trafford under Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier.
The result ended United's hopes of the title as they were third, 11 points behind Arsenal with three matches left. Liverpool stayed fourth.
2005: Manchester United 2-1 Newcastle United
Wayne Rooney scored a sensational volley to spark a come-from-behind victory for Manchester United.
Darren Ambrose had given Newcastle the lead at Old Trafford which was cancelled out by Rooney's ferocious 30-yard goal.
Wes Brown scored the winner from Ryan Giggs's assist to keep United in third place. Newcastle remained 14th.
