1994: Everton 3-2 Wimbledon

Everton produced a thrilling comeback to complete a dramatic final-day escape from relegation.

Needing victory at the very least to stay up, the Toffees went 2-0 down through Dean Holdsworth's early penalty and an own-goal from Gary Ablett.

But two goals from Graham Stuart either side of Barry Horne's superb strike made sure that Everton stayed up, ending up in 17th, two clear of the bottom three.

Wimbledon finished the season in sixth place.
