1997: Liverpool 1-2 Leicester City
Matt Elliott and Graham Fenton were on target for Leicester City as they triumphed at Liverpool, starting their campaign with back-to-back victories.
Elliott struck in the opening minute and Fenton doubled the advantage seven minutes from time.
Paul Ince quickly hit back for Liverpool but the home side were unable to find an equaliser.
Leicester remained level with the early pacesetters on points, lying fourth on goal difference, while Liverpool sat 13th with one point on the board.
2010: Mario Balotelli joins Manchester City
Mario Balotelli joined Manchester City from Inter Milan, linking up again with his former manager Roberto Mancini.
The Italian striker spent two and a half seasons with Man City, making 54 Premier League appearances and scoring 20 goals. Thirteen of those strikes came in the title-winning 2011/12 season.
Balotelli moved to AC Milan in January 2013 before returning to England in August 2014, signing for Liverpool.
