2009: Hull City 1-3 Manchester United
Manchester United maintained the pressure on league leaders Chelsea as they won away at Hull City.
The visitors went ahead through Wayne Rooney on the stroke of half-time and, although Craig Fagan equalised with a penalty, Andy Dawson’s own goal restored Man Utd’s lead. Dimitar Berbatov then put the result beyond doubt.
Second-placed United moved to 44 points, just one point behind Chelsea. At the other end of the table, Hull dropped to 19th on 18 points, lying inside the relegation zone on goal difference.
2010: Arsenal 3-1 Chelsea
Arsenal won an important showdown in a closely-fought title race as they overcame rivals Chelsea.
Alexandre Song put the Gunners ahead seconds before the break, and Arsenal found themselves 3-0 up in the 53rd minute after quickfire goals from Cesc Fabregas and Theo Walcott.
Branislav Ivanovic scored a consolation for the visitors but the result left Arsenal third with 36 points, just two points behind leaders Manchester United, while fourth-placed Chelsea lay four points off the top.
