2010: Philippe Senderos joins Fulham

Philippe Senderos moved to Fulham from Arsenal on a three-year contract.

The Swiss defender, who spent seven seasons at Arsenal, made 75 Premier League appearances for Fulham, scoring two goals.

He went on to sign for Aston Villa following the Cottagers’ 2013/14 relegation.

2017: Manchester City agree to sign Ederson

Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson agreed his move to Manchester City from Benfica.

Ederson had played 37 times for the Portuguese side since breaking into the team in March 2016, winning both the Portuguese league and cup in 2016/17.

The 23-year-old was a key part of Man City’s record-breaking 2017/18 season, making 36 appearances as Pep Guardiola’s side won the league with 100 points.

Ederson kept 16 clean sheets in the 2017/18 PL, and also helped City win the League Cup.
