1995: Liverpool 2-1 Blackburn Rovers
Blackburn Rovers won the Premier League title for the first time despite losing 2-1 at Anfield on a dramatic final day.
Rovers started out in first place with two points separating themselves and Manchester United in second.
Alan Shearer struck at Anfield but John Barnes and Jamie Redknapp from Liverpool left them waiting on news from Upton Park, where Man Utd were drawing with West Ham.
And despite piling on the pressure, they could not find the winning goal that would have given them their third straight title.
1995: Burridge becomes PL's oldest player
At the age of 43 years and 162 days, goalkeeper John Burridge became the Premier League's oldest player in Manchester City's home match against Queens Park Rangers.
City lost the final match of the season 3-2, with Burridge conceding from Danny Dichio and twice from Les Ferdinand, and ended up in 17th place. QPR finished in eighth.
It was Burridge's fourth and final appearance for City, one of 29 clubs that he signed for in a career spanning almost 30 years.
